Taurus Motors Foreign Trade Company’s roots reach the year of 1960. At that time, the company was established to meet the demand of the automotive and trucks spare parts sector by producing and trading the goods required within the new developing market conditions. In following 10 years, the company was intensively active in automotive sector, by holding remarkable market share at the end of the period.

Furthermore, the company started to modernize corporate restructure by adding various internal departments to specialize in different areas, still led by automotive group. This efforts yielded results in upcoming years, by starting internationally trading of agricultural goods. The goods were walnut butt for pistols and they were exported to Germany and Austria (1985). Still a department of the company is dealing with trade of this specific product.

Simultaneously, in year of 1990, the company started to export oil refiners and decompositors to Azerbaijan in cooperation with BASF company. Its efforts in this country and local connections drove the company to analyze the tobacco market and production possibilities. Taurus Motors then started to export tobacco (1994) and produce various tobacco products in this country. At that years total amount of products and goods exported had a significant value.Another successful department of the company is enformaIT (Information Technologies) department. The definitive market leader of ATM and intelligent kiosk producer of the country, having Akbank and Isbank TAS as its main customers, as well as exporting to Ukraine, Germany and Great Britain, having distributorships of many computer technology brands. Total turnover numbers of this specific department for 2003 is 1.2 million US dollars and has innovated 2 brand new machines and queue management systems used in banks.

The company having considerable experience in automotive sector, opened a new branch at Istanbul Free Zone, and started reexporting cars and commercial vehicles. Its the main buyer of a Japanese Corporation locally and exporting to more than 15 countries with a total turnover of 42 million dollars per year, having respectable customers all around the world.

Our company Taurus Motors dealing with automobile re-export business. We are importing the vehicles to our Free Zone Area from various sources (Dubai, Europe) and selling to other countries without nationalizing and custom operations. We also do transit business by which we directly sell the products from our suppliers to our buyers to reduce costs.

We've been doing business (reexport) with most of the former Soviet Union countries like Ukraine, Moldovia, Georgia, Azerbaijan and also some European countries (CIF Illıchevsk, FOB Belgium, CIF Odessa CIF Kherson or FOB/CIF Istanbul etc), along with countries like Iraq, Syria, China, Tunus and Egypt (like: Tropical specs, Gulf specs, European specs...) occasionally. The president and founder of the company is Mr.Ahmet SENSIVAS, born in 1942, Master of Science Mechanical Engineer, married and have 2 children.
